![]() ![]() I paid off the mortgages of some family members and colleagues, bought a 50% share in the company I work for, bought a farm for the seclusion, and set up trust funds for some kids. I took time off work to get my head round it, even though I’d dealt with big money as part of my job, to suddenly be wealthy in my own right was still mind blowing. I won a share of the Euromillions jackpot a few years ago. ![]() If I did win mega money I’d give most away. ![]() It’s why I do the UK lottery but not Euromillions. I think a really big win would be too much for me. You could end up being the target of some nasty people. I’m sure the location of the winners was usually available so the press might go hunting. If you’re bothered about people sponging then I’m not sure such people would care where you hit it from!Ī big win would obviously be much harder to hide.
